Chemical Resistance
Resistance to mild chemical fume attack but where there is heavy attack e.g. – Actual contact with chemical special paint system may be required.
Heat Resistance
Generally resistance to heat up to 90°C, but some discoloration of light color may occur at temperature above 80°C.
Water Resistance
Resistant to the levels of atmosphere humidity present in normal interior and exterior environments and will withstand repeated washing. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces.

CLEANING UP
Clean all equipment with Mineral Turpentine immediately after use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Surface generally must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, and grease, wax etc. previously painted surfaces should be thoroughly rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and then dusted off.
Steel surfaces should be manually prepared by power of hand tool to BS7079 part A1: 1989 st3.
For optimum performance new galvanized and aluminum surfaces should be cleaned and degreased, then pre-treat with a pre-treatment primer to ensure good adhesion.

In case of fire use foam, dry powder, AAAF, CO2 fire extinguisher. Never use water. Keep away from sources of ignition. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from combustible material. CONTAINS MINIRAL TURPENTINE. Work only in areas of good ventilation. Inside always keep doors and windows fully open during application and drying. Do not use on large surface areas inside or small confined spaces. IF THIS PRODUCT IS USED BY PROFESSIONAL OPERATORS it may be applied on large surfaces inside or used in small confined spaces, provided air supplied breathing apparatus is used. When applying for short periods only or rubbing down, a suitable cartridge mask should be worn provided the filter is changed regularly.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This is a two component polyamine cured phenolic/novolac epoxy coating.
It is heat resistant up to 205 °C (401°F) and can be applied on hot substrates up to 150 °C (302 °F). It is suitable for cryogenic temperatures, down to -196°C (-321°F).
It may be used on insulated and non-insulated surfaces.
This product may be used as a primer, mid coat or finish coat, with the exception of the bright aluminum colour which can only be used as a finish coat.
Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and aluminium
substrates.

COLOUR VARIATIONS
When applicable, products primarily meant for use as primers or antifoulings may have slight colour variations from batch to batch. Such products and epoxy based products used as a finish coat may chalk when exposed to sunlight and weathering.
Colour and gloss retention on topcoats/finish coats may vary depending on type of colour, exposure environment such as temperature, UV intensity etc., application quality and generic type of paint. Contact your local Kings Paints office for further information.
PRODUCT COMPATIBILITY
Depending on the actual exposure of the coating system, various primers and topcoats can be used in combination with this product. Some examples are shown below.
CLEANING UP
Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after use.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Allow all new surfaces to dry out completely. Remove all loose or defective paint or powdery residues through brushing and scraping using a stiff brush. Where appropriate the surface should be rubbed down using a suitable abrasive paper and dust off.
FILLING NEW SURFACES
After priming new surface with Kings Prime Sealer Water Based fill any imperfections with Acrylic Wall Putty allow the filler to dry overnight before painting.

Keep out of reach of children. Keep container tightly closed and upright to prevent leakage when not in use. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking. Wear suitable gloves. When apply paint it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case pf contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water keeping eyelids apart and seek medical advice. Remove splashes from skin, use soap and water or a recognized skin cleaner. Work only in areas of good ventilation.
Inside always keep doors and windows fully open during application and drying. A suitable cartridge mask should be worn when rubbing down. Harmful, may cause lungs damage if swallowed. Do not breathe vapor or sanding dust. Toxic by inhalation if swallowed. If inhalation cause physical discomfort move to fresh air. If discomfort persists or any breathing difficulty occurs seek medical advice.
Protect from extremes of temperature. Store in cool and dry place. Do not store by hanging on a hook. In the event of an accident contain and collect spillage using sand or earth. Very toxic to aquatic organisms. Do not empty into drains or appropriate environment quality regulation.
