PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

• Two-component polyamine cured phenolic/novolac epoxy coating

• Heat resistant up to 205 °C (401 °F)

• Can be applied on hot substrates up to 150 °C (302 °F)

• Suitable for cryogenic temperatures down to -196 °C (-321 °F)

• Can be used on insulated and non-insulated surfaces

• Can be used as primer, mid coat, or finish coat (bright aluminum colour only as finish coat)

• Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel, and aluminium substrates

FILM PROPERTIES

Heat Resistance

• Generally resistant to heat up to 205 °C

THICKNESS PER COAT

• Dry film thickness: 100–200 µm

• Wet film thickness: 160–320 µm

• Theoretical spreading rate: 6.3–3.2 m²/L per coat

SURFACE PREPARATION

• Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contamination to ensure lasting adhesion

DRYING TIME

• Single coat at standard film thickness

• Touch Dry: 2–4 hours

• Recoat: 10 hours

COLOUR VARIATIONS

• Products primarily meant as primers or antifoulings may have slight colour variations between batches

• Epoxy-based finish coats may chalk when exposed to sunlight and weathering

• Colour and gloss retention may vary depending on:

  • Type of colour

  • Exposure environment (temperature, UV intensity)

  • Application quality

  • Generic type of paint
